Why Sassanid Iran is one of my favorites civilizations

Iran's civilization is remarkable for its longevity and cultural integration, particularly through the Sassanid era, which served as a link between Rome and China. Despite its obscurity compared to the Byzantines, Sassanid history retains authenticity, reflecting the aspirations of its people while showcasing impressive architectural achievements like rock carvings.
